A CONCERTED, JOINT EFFORT is being made to expand and develop Flemingsberg: a new city for research, education and business is now being planned and built. While this is under way, existing players in the form of businesses, universities and colleges are initiating new collaborative projects aimed at further expanding their fruitful partnerships. These partnerships often take the form of close-knit networks of unique skills, which together create a fertile environment for additional growth. The Flemingsberg Concept–From Brains to Business–encapsulates the development work being carried out by the Stockholm County Council and Huddinge and Botkyrka municipalities, together with local industry players.

Flemingsberg already has the exciting atmosphere of a true hub of expertise, and aims to develop itself into the most important center for learning, knowledge-intensive business and industry, science and new business in the Stockholm region. Flemingsberg is a place where knowledge drives business.
